Photography question

You have seen photographs play an important role in several key events in U.S. history including the Great Depression, the Vietnam War and the 1960s civil rights and student activism. Choose one of those events where you found the photographs to be particularly compelling and write an essay. What photos do you remember the most from that event and what was compelling about them? Talk about some of the photos you saw in detail and explain why that photos caught your interest. Do you understand why the photos you saw had an impact on the culture, for example the way that photos of the civil rights movement motivated changes in the law or why the photos of the poor taken by the FSA exposed the public to the nation’s suffering during the Great Depression?
